2027 Commitment Update

HooperIndex is reporting 2027 recruit prospect Jack Lafayette, Peoples Academy has reclassified to the 2026 class and will graduate early to join GNAC Norwich University Mens Basketball for their 2026-27 season.

 

Lafayette made the announcement via his Instagram, with past and future teammates supporting the decision. Lafayette had interest in multiple NY preparatory schools per sources but sought a higher level of play while staying local. Indeed, the campus of Norwich is a mere 55 minutes from People’s Academy.

 

Will the crafty mid range guard need to add strength and speed to have any real shot of contributing year one? Time will tell. Peoples Acadmey boys basketball is on the radar.
